Until January 5th, a bit of Parisian magic & wonder is hiding at the Musée des Arts Forains–just around the corner from Bercy Village.
Featuring a collection of French fairground pieces dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Le Festival du Merveilleux is the perfect place to enjoy your last bit of holiday cheer. Jean Paul Favand, a private collector, curated the museum, which includes beautifully ornate amusement park rides, fair stalls & attractions, carousels and more.
To get to the Musée des Arts Forains, take the métro to Cour Saint-Émilion. Take the only exit, which serves as the entrance to Bercy Village. Walk through the village to Rue des Pirogues de Bercy, where you’ll turn left and then right onto Rue Lheureux. Continue straight, and make a left onto Avenue des Terroirs de France. The entrance to the museum will be on your left (though you’ll likely spot the line before the entrance itself!)
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and are available here.
