Born in 1973, Nawel had a classic Fine Arts education from childhood. She remained an artist at heart and a painter of nudes and portraits in oils. Later, her studies in the Applied Arts led her to enter the world of fashion.

Going from being a designer for the men's collections of Guy Laroche, to a photo stylist, to head of casting and production for Hermès by Martin Margiela, to press attachée for Fifi Chachnil, Nawel has worked with the people who make high fashion and who are high fashion, becoming a true fashion maven herself.
